Ethical principles of LIVONDO medical healthcare manufacturing

The LIVONDO GmbH & Co. KG operates worldwide in many different markets and countries. We always respect the national laws and the national code of conduct in our branch of industry. We, the managers and staff of LIVONDO :

• Are always aware of our obligations towards anyone with an interest in our success, including customers, employees   and suppliers.
• Provide clear and direct information on our business matters, without discrimination and in conformity with the local regulations. 
• Commit to recruit employees because of their qualifications and merits, and to promote without discrimination and without regard to race, religion, nationality, skin colour, gender, sexual orientation, age and disability. 
• Want security and a well-mannered code of conduct both at the workplace and in cooperation. Therefore, we neither tolerate harassment nor discriminatory or offensive behaviour, including an ongoing defamation of individuals by word and deed and showing or distributing offensive material on the premises of the company LIVONDO GmbH & Co. KG and its customers.
• Treat all business information about our clients confidential. In particular, "insider trading" is strictly prohibited; confidential information may not be used for personal profit.
• Do not develop knowingly any products that contain statements, suggestions or images that could offend the public sense of decency and take due account of the impact of our products on all groups that constitute a minority because of their race, religion, nationality, skin colour, gender, sexual orientation, age or disabilities. 
• Provide no personal incentives to secure a transaction. This does not refer to appropriate business entertainment or occasional gifts of small value, given that they are not excluded by the code of conduct of the customer.
• Do not accept any goods or services for personal benefit from suppliers, potential suppliers or third parties. 
• Do not provide any entrepreneurial performance, (business) services or material supply at prices below customary market rates for interested parties or customers without prior written approval. We comply with all local laws and regulations and, where necessary, we even respect internationally valid rules of law.
